Then wash the gooseberry thoroughly with clean water and dry it. After the gooseberries are completely dry, boil them or mix them directly in light oil. Then mix the gooseberry well with salt and leave it in the sun. This process helps in softening the gooseberry naturally.
Know the recipe of Amla pickle
When the excess water of the gooseberries dries up, dry them in the sun for 3 to 4 more days. After this, mix spices of your choice like red chili powder, turmeric, fennel, fenugreek, celery and mustard oil and fill it in a clean glass bottle. By keeping the pickle in sunlight for 8 to 10 days, the spices and oil get completely absorbed into the gooseberry. In about 20 to 25 days, very tasty and fully prepared Amla pickle enhances the beauty of your dinner plate.
