Doctors say that children and the elderly have low immunity and are most affected by pollution. Men and women who stay in outdoor environment for a long time have increased risk of many diseases. People with pre-existing lung or heart disease may face serious health risks due to pollution. Patients suffering from lung and respiratory diseases should take special measures to avoid air pollution, so that their condition does not become serious. To avoid air pollution, use air purifiers or plants to keep the air clean inside the house. Wear a mask when outdoor air quality is poor. Pollution can be reduced by less use of vehicles, use of public transport and electric vehicles. To reduce dust and smoke in cities, it is important to increase greenery and control industrial emissions.
