Dhaniya Growing Tips: Many times people plant green coriander at home but the plant dies within a few days. In such a situation, it is not clear where the mistake lies. The expert answered this question and told the methods of treatment.
Ranchi. Many times it is seen that people grow coriander leaves in pots at home. But after 10 days the plants die again and have to be bought from the market again. In such a situation, garden experts say that if you keep one or two things in mind, then chances are that you may need to bring coriander from the market.
Keep this in mind while planting coriander plant
Ranchi’s well-known gardening expert Prabhat Kumar says, coriander plant has a very strong smell and aroma. Therefore, insects do not get involved quickly and easily. But still many times insects get infected due to environment or soil, so do one thing, plant a little garlic next to coriander leaves, the smell of garlic is strong and it does not allow insects to appear.
don’t water too much
Secondly, the coriander plant does not require much water. You have to add water only once a day, that too half a glass. Just let the soil become slightly wet. Not more than this, otherwise the plant soon withers and dies. Keep it in a place with only 6 hours of sunlight.
not too much fertilizer
Many times people give a little fertilizer every week or three-four days. Make this mistake. It needs fertilizer once in 15 days, not more than that. If cow dung is manure then it is very good and if kitchen waste is added then it is even better. Apart from this, no other fertilizer is required. One thing to keep in mind is that you should not keep it in too much sunlight.
the weather is perfect
Right now it is cold season, so it grows very well in cold weather, absolutely blooming. Because the maximum temperature in the afternoon remains between 24 to 27 degrees and this is necessary for coriander. In the summer season, people keep it in the shade after exposing it to light morning sunlight. In this way you can grow coriander throughout the year.
