Sarthak Ranjan, son of Purnia MP and one of the famous leaders of Bihar, Pappu Yadav, is a player of Delhi Cricket Association. 29 year old Sarthak is an all-rounder category player. Bats with his right hand while also doing right arm off spin.
Recently, Sarthak had performed brilliantly while batting for North Delhi in the Delhi Premier League. He scored 449 runs in 9 matches at a strike rate of 146.73. This includes 21 sixes and 44 fours. Hit one century (in 58 balls) and 4 half centuries. Be second in the list of players who scored the most runs in this tournament. He is counted among the strong players of Delhi.

Sarthak initially played T-20 and List-A matches for Delhi team. In 2016, he made his T-20 debut and in 2017, he made his List-A debut during the Vijay Hazare Trophy. In December 2024, Sarthak made a spectacular comeback in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
He opened with Gautam Gambhir during the 2017 Vijay Hazare Trophy. Rishabh Pant was the captain in this match. Sarthak had played an inning of 37 runs. This was his debut match in Vijay Hazare.
Sarthak says that fitness is an important part of his cricket career. He regularly spends time in the gym and training sessions. This is why he looks agile and full of energy on the field.

Tejashwi Yadav was a part of the squad of Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) in IPL from 2008 to 2012, but he never got a chance to play in the playing eleven. Due to limited performance, he said goodbye to cricket and became fully active in politics.
