Begusarai: 22 year old Nisha Kumari, who wanted to start a new life full of dreams after marriage, died in the same house. Reason? The reason was that a demand like bike could not be fulfilled. Let us tell you what is the whole matter.
Actually, the matter is of Begusarai in Bihar, Nisha was married to Rohit Kumar, resident of Rachiyahi of Singhaul police station area in June 2023. Everything went well in the beginning, but within a few months the real identity of the in-laws started coming to light. Rohit and his family members started putting pressure on her for dowry. Sometimes demand for money, sometimes for goods. Gradually motorcycles were also added to these demands.
Nisha’s father Mukhram Chauhan told that his daughter was talking to him till November 10. But the very next day, on November 11, suddenly a call came from son-in-law Rohit that Nisha had run away from home. The father became suspicious, but there was no evidence.
Dead body found in Ganga river
On November 17, Rohit told another story, ‘Nisha hanged herself and we burnt the body.’ On hearing this, Mukhram became convinced that a serious incident had happened to his daughter. On November 18, he gave a written complaint at Singhaul police station and expressed fear of murder. 20 days later, on Sunday, a dead body was seen in the shallow waters of the Ganga river.
The police took out the body and got it identified in the hospital. Her condition had changed, her clothes had also deteriorated, but Nisha’s parents recognized her as their daughter.
After this, the police intensified the investigation and detained husband Rohit. During interrogation he revealed his entire secret.
After murder, the body was thrown into the Ganga, not the river.
Rohit told that after not getting the bike in dowry, the family members together murdered Nisha. After killing him on November 10, the body was placed on a bed and tied tightly with a plastic rope. Then they put him in the car and took him 8 kilometers away to river Ganga and washed away the body so that the evidence could be erased.
SP Manish said that the entire conspiracy of murder, hiding the dead body and destroying evidence has come to light. The team under the leadership of DSP is taking action against all the accused. At present the investigation of the case is going on.
