Ingredients: Housewife Suman Devi told that it is very easy to make drumstick curry. Apart from this, it does not take much time to make it. To make drumstick pod vegetable, fresh drumstick pods (8 to 10), 2 medium sized tomatoes, 1 onion, two green chillies, half spoon cumin, a pinch of asafoetida, half spoon turmeric powder, one spoon coriander-cumin powder, red chilli powder as per taste, salt as per taste, two spoons of oil, green coriander and some water are required.
Method of preparation: Suman Devi told that to prepare the vegetable, first wash the drumstick beans, cut off both the ends and cut them into 2 to 3 inch pieces. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin and asafoetida in it. Then add finely chopped onion and fry until it becomes light golden. After this, add tomatoes, green chillies and all the spices and cook the mixture well until the oil starts separating. Now add chopped drumstick beans and fry for 5 minutes. Then add water as required, close the lid and let it cook on medium flame for 15 to 20 minutes, until the beans become soft. Switch off the gas and sprinkle green coriander on top and serve hot.
