Farmer Bablu Kumar, resident of Bishtauria Panchayat of the district, cultivates Lafa Saag on half an acre of land. He told that no special effort is required to grow this crop. He just sprinkles the seeds. Apart from this, there is no need to do much in this crop. He told that the farmers here earn good income from the cultivation of Lafa Saag.
Get plenty of vitamins and nutrients
In the winter season, people can easily get Lafa greens in the market. If you know the benefits of beneficial greens then you will definitely want to buy and eat this greens. Farmer Bablu Kumar told in conversation with Local 18 that if we talk about Lafa Saag then it is very good. All nutrients, mineral salts and vitamins are found in abundance in it. Vitamins like iron, calcium, magnesium, folic acid are found in it. When such vitamins are found, it is obvious that it will be very beneficial for our body.
Bablu Kumar, a farmer from Araria district, told Local 18 that when these Lafa Saag are ready, they go to Raniganj market and sell them in the vegetable market. He told that initially these Lafa Saag are sold at around Rs 50-60 per kg. He told that currently it is sold at Rs 30 per kg. He told that apart from this, he cultivates maize on his 7 acres of land. He told that he earns an income of about Rs 7 lakh in a season from the cultivation of Lafa Saag on 7 acres of land.
