A plane was grounded for hours at Mexico City’s Juarez International Airport because the pilot refused to fly the plane and locked himself in the cockpit. This pilot had announced that he would not fly the plane until his salary was paid. A video of this entire high-voltage drama has surfaced, in which the pilot is seen expressing his helplessness.
Mexico City: Such a high-voltage drama recently took place on the runway of Mexico Benito Juarez International Airport, which left the passengers shocked. Many people remained worried for hours for their safety. All this happened because of the anger of the pilot who was upset due to salary. The pilot of a commercial flight rebelled against not receiving his salary and imprisoned himself in the cockpit. Dozens of passengers sitting in the plane were stunned when the pilot directly announced on the mike that ‘until my dues are paid, this plane will not move from here’.
‘Cockpit drama’ of 5 months salary
The reason for this anger of the pilot was due to a disturbance happening at the workplace. In the viral video on social media, it is seen that the pilot is accusing the airline of not paying his salary and traveling allowances for the last 5 months.
