But before making this candy, its necessary ingredients have to be taken and the necessary ingredients include ginger 100 grams (cleaned and finely ground), jaggery 200 grams, juice of half a lemon, black pepper powder half a teaspoon, black salt half a teaspoon, turmeric half a teaspoon.

First of all, wash and peel 100 grams of ginger thoroughly and grind it finely to prepare a paste. Now cook this paste lightly on low flame for 2 minutes. After this, add 200 grams of jaggery in it and keep cooking while stirring continuously. When the jaggery completely melts and mixes with the ginger paste, add juice of half a lemon, black pepper powder, black salt and turmeric and mix well.
Now keep cooking this mixture continuously until it becomes slightly thick. Take out the prepared mixture on a plate and let it cool slightly. Keep in mind that the mixture should not be too cold, because if it is too cold it becomes hard and it can be difficult to shape with hands. When the mixture becomes soft enough to touch with hands, immediately make small round balls out of it. Then store them in an airtight container. Now whenever you have a sore throat, chew ginger candy like chocolate.
