The students of Saharsa Engineering College have prepared an amazing device. Its biggest feature is that now there will be no problem in seeing Sanko even in fog, mist or snowfall. This facility will be of great help in carrying out special operations or monitoring.
Sarhasa. Some promising students of the engineering college of the district together have done such a wonderful thing, which can bring a big change in the working style of border security and NSG commandos in the future. Mohd. Dilshad Akhtar, a second year student of Electrical Branch, along with his three colleagues Abhinav Anand, Ritika Ranu and Shivangi Singh, have prepared the AeroGauge device. This device has the ability to capture activities clearly even in areas with fog, mist and low visibility. This device has been specially designed for NSG commandos and the border, that is, from one side, this device will work like the soldiers deployed on the border.
There will be no hindrance due to weather
Dilshad Akhtar tells that this project came to him suddenly. About five months ago, during their statement, the border soldiers and NSG commandos had put forward that their biggest challenge in the foggy season is that they are not able to detect the movement or suspicious activities happening in front. Due to the sudden strong storm accompanied by fog on the border, the visibility of the cameras is almost lost and the operation is hampered. Dilshad decided at that very moment that he would try to solve this problem through technology.
Every activity on the border will be live tracked.
Dilshad and his team worked day and night for almost four months, doing research, testing different sensors and doing many experiments to improve the quality of the cameras. About Rs 100000 was spent on the entire project. In which college teachers and some local technical experts also gave him guidance. AeronGage is not just a camera but a smart surveillance system in which special sensors have been installed which penetrate the fog and provide clear visuals. It also includes Human Movement Detection Technology, which detects any suspicious activity immediately. This device is completely equipped with GPS, which means if it is installed at any location on the border, its every detail can be tracked live.
Big relief to security agencies
Dilshad says that the biggest feature of this device is that it can be operated sitting anywhere. This means that the soldiers deployed on the border can keep a complete watch on that area even sitting several kilometers away. Wherever deployed, this system continuously sends data and video feeds, which is extremely useful for soldiers during operations. This camera gives absolutely clear footage in areas with mist, fog and low visibility, which can provide great relief to security agencies. Especially in the border areas of North India, where fog persists for months in winter, making monitoring work difficult.
This achievement of the students is not only a matter of pride for their college but is also a ray of hope for the security system of the country. Today, technology is being used the most in security and surveillance, while the coming forward of such young minds proves that the new generation of India understands the needs and also has the ability to find solutions to the challenges.
