This train arrived late by 12 hours, due to which the passengers had to face a lot of trouble.

Due to late arrival of trains, passengers shivering from cold have to wait for hours in the platform, waiting hall and circulating area. Due to cold and dense fog, the delays in trains are not stopping. The situation is such that the Bhubaneswar-Delhi Tejas Rajdhani Express, which was supposed to reach at 12.30 in the night, could not reach the station till 11 in the day. The train arrived late by about 12 hours, due to which the passengers had to face a lot of problems.

Apart from Tejas Rajdhani, many other up and down trains also arrived late by hours. Due to long wait, cold and fog, the passengers sitting on the platform had to face a lot of problems. Many passengers said that due to not getting timely information, their further journey and important work was also affected.
What did the railway officer say?
Railway officials said that due to reduced visibility due to dense fog, the speed of trains has to be controlled, due to which there are continuous delays. If the weather conditions remain the same, there is a possibility that the operation of trains will be affected in the coming days also. There is dissatisfaction among the passengers due to continuous delays and people are demanding better information system and facilities from the Railways.
