Andhra Pradesh Bus Accident News: A painful accident took place in Andhra Pradesh early this morning. Nine people were killed and 22 injured when a bus overturned on the Chintoor-Maredumilli Ghat road in Alluri Sitaramrajud district of Andhra Pradesh. All the passengers in the bus were going from Chittoor to Bhadrachalam. This incident happened in the early hours of Friday.

On Friday, a bus slipped off the road and overturned in Alluri Sitaram Raju district of Andhra Pradesh. At least nine people died and 22 were injured in this accident. Police gave this information.
The police officer said that 37 people, including the driver and a sweeper, were traveling in the bus from Chittoor to the neighboring state of Telangana. Six of these people are safe. Superintendent of Police (SP) Amit Bardar said that the accident occurred around 4:30 am on the Chintoor-Maredumilli Ghat road near a Durga temple.
Amit Bardar told news agency ‘PTI-Bhasha’, ‘At least nine people died and 22 others were injured after the bus fell off the Ghat Road road. The bus did not fall completely into the valley. The bus overturned… and got stuck there. He said that the condition of four of the injured is critical.
According to the officer, possibly due to dense fog, the bus driver could not see the turn at the accident site, which falls in Mothugudem police station area. Baradar said the bus passengers were going from Chittoor to Sri Ram temple in Bhadrachalam, Telangana.
