Agra News: The value of Aadhar card is increasing day by day. Earlier, this card was easily made and now one has to roll papad to make it. Same thing is happening in Agra also. There is only one Aadhaar center here, due to which there is a long line of people. People say that work is not being done even online or at public service centres. In such a situation, many of their works have stopped.
Agra. The Aadhaar card center of Khandari located in Tajnagari Agra is closed. Thousands of people are facing problems due to the closure of the centre. Aadhaar card center of Agra is not working since last 25th November. Work will remain closed till December. Regarding this, a board has been put up by the Aadhar Card Centre, in which it is written that the center has been closed due to restoration and technical improvements. Although the department had already put up a board regarding this, many people are facing problems due to lack of information about it. People who come here to get their Aadhaar repaired are returning disappointed. People say that they were not aware that work was closed otherwise they would not have come here from so far. There are problems even in the admission of children. At present people will have to wait till December 5.

Talking to Local 18, Manju Baghel, who reached the Aadhar Card Center from Tedhi Bagiya area of Agra, said that she did not know that the center was closed. Aadhaar card of the child has to be made. There is a need for admission. Work is not being done even in public service centres. The center will remain closed till December 5. 6th is Saturday, don’t know whether this work will be done here on Saturday or not. The next day is Sunday, 7th December. In such a situation, I will come again on Monday. There is no information about what papers to bring. Child’s admission is getting delayed, it is a big problem.

Kusum Devi, who came to get the base repaired, says that she had taken leave from the factory. She says that we are not educated, hence we could not get information about its closure from newspapers etc. Today the holiday was wasted. Even the work could not be done.
