No one’s feet will fit in this shoe, but its name is ‘Rakhpag’ which means it keeps the feet. The beauty of this unique shoe is so amazing that the eyes of the spectators are fixed on it and people keep staring at it.

In fact, it is a real shoe measuring eight and a half feet, which was made by four artisans together in three months. It has been made by Mohanlal Gurjar, resident of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. These days master creation is going on in INA Dilli Haat. Which will run till 15th December. The shoe has been placed at the entrance itself, due to which it has become a center of attraction for the people.
The design is of cotton threads on leather
Mohanlal Gurjar, who makes eight and a half feet long shoes, is also present here. When we talked to him, he told that he always thinks of doing something new. That is why he has made the world’s largest shoe which is eight and a half feet long. It is completely hand work. The painting that has been done on it. That Madhubani painting and Patachitra of Orissa have been taken. It is made on leather. Four artisans have made it together in 3 months. There were two men and two women in it. It has embroidery done with flowers, leaves and animals. It is stitched entirely with cotton thread. Embroidery has been done on both the inside and outside. Its soul. It is made of leather. Embroidery design has also been done on the leather.
Know the weight of the shoe
Mohanlal Gurjar told that the weight of this shoe is up to 17 kg. Its price is one and a half lakh rupees. No one can make such shoes. It was for these unique works that he received the National Award in 2016. His mother Chandra Gurjar has received the award in 2012. Has also received State Award in Rajasthan. His mother is 75 years old, but is still making shoes. He told that his work is 300 years old. At that time in Rajasthan, leather saddles were made for the Rajput Maharajas to sit on horses. His family but with time the nature of work changed and now they are making leather shoes.
