At that time his monthly income was around Rs 10 to 12 thousand.
Five years ago, when the Supreme Court gave its verdict in favor of the Ram temple and the construction of the temple started in Ayodhya, they felt that this city would become a big center of economic activities in the future. Ratanlal says that when Prime Minister Modi ji inaugurated the Ram temple, then I decided to leave my job in Delhi and start a business in Ayodhya. I started my small business with Rs 50 to 60 thousand and today the same business has grown manifold.
With initial investment he opened a shop selling items related to Lord Ram. The shop started selling idols, puja material, Tulsi rosary, sandalwood and other items related to the name of Ram. As the number of devotees in the temple increased, Ratanlal’s business also grew rapidly. Ratanlal says that today he has four to five shops and through these he saves one to one and a half lakh rupees every month. He told that his earning is more than 10 times compared to his job in Delhi.
Ratanlal says that today there are many business opportunities in Ayodhya. Here the person applying sandalwood tilak also earns Rs 1000 per day. Clothing business, idol business, puja material business, all these are growing rapidly, Ayodhya is a golden opportunity for anyone who wants to start a business.
Ratanlal gives a message to the youth that it is better to start their own small business instead of depending on the job.
