Gurugram News: Haryana Director General of Police O.P. Singh conducted a surprise inspection of Cyber Crime Police Station Gurugram. The special thing was that he himself visited the police station as a complainant and also shared this video on his Twitter handle.
Gurugram: Haryana Director General of Police O.P. Singh conducted a surprise inspection of Cyber Police Station, Gurugram on Monday. The special thing was that the DGP himself reached the police station as a complainant. After which he also shared this video on his Twitter handle, so that common people can see the process of filing a complaint of cyber crime and the help provided to the victims.
The sentry posted at the police station explained to the DGP the process of meeting the research officer as per the protocol and filing the complaint. During this, the Director General of Police also thoroughly inspected the functioning of the police station, victim assistance system, response system and awareness system.
Talking to media after inspection, DGP O.P. Singh said that Haryana Police is adopting concrete and effective strategies to deal with cyber crime. He said that in small cases, immediate solution will be given through Lok Adalat to reduce the problems faced by the victims due to bank freezing. With this, victims will be able to get their money back without any delay.
