Pramod Shringari, the pilgrimage priest cum astrologer of Deoghar Baidyanath Jyotirling, while talking to the correspondent of Local 18, said that the month of Paush is going to start in a few days and the Ekadashi of Krishna Paksha of the month of Paush is called Saphala Ekadashi. Keeping fast on Saphala Ekadashi destroys sins and bestows virtue. Fast can be observed in two ways. Waterless or fruit diet. You can observe fast in both ways. On this day, yellow flowers, basil and fruits should be offered to Lord Vishnu.
When is Saphala Ekadashi starting?
According to Baidyanath Panchang, the Ekadashi date of Krishna Paksha of Paush month will start on December 14 at 08:46 pm. At the same time, it will end on December 15 at 10:09 pm. In such a situation, considering the Panchang, Saphala Ekadashi fast will be observed on 15th December. The auspicious time of puja will be from early morning till 11.08 am.
