Trump is being criticized in his own country because of his love for Pakistan. He is being demanded to apologize to India. Apart from this, pressure to arrest Asim Munir is also increasing. Former Pentagon official Michael Rubin, while giving advice to Trump, said that ‘the interest of the country is above one man’s inflated ego’. Washington: Many of his policies appear to be backfiring on US President Trump. On one hand, he has earned the displeasure of many countries by imposing tariffs, while on the other hand, Trump’s affection from Pakistan is also costing him dearly. Recently, 44 senators had written a letter to Foreign Minister Marco Rubio demanding a ban on Asim Munir. At the same time, now Trump is also being advised to apologize to India. Former Pentagon official Michael Rubin has described Trump’s love for Pakistan as meaningless. Describing the reality of Asim Munir, he said that his country should be declared a terrorist.
‘It is absolutely useless to embrace Pakistan’
‘Arrest Asim Munir’
‘America should apologize to India’
Rubin also said that America should apologize for its bad behavior towards India. Especially the absurd decision of imposing additional 50 percent tariff on India’s imports in August due to buying oil from Russia deserves apology. He said that even though President Donald Trump ‘doesn’t like to apologize, the interests of the United States outweigh his personal ego’. Rubin has stressed the need for peaceful diplomacy and said that there is a strong need for an apology from the United States for the mistreatment we have shown India in the last one year.
