Serious questions have been raised on FBI Director Kash Patel in America. He is accused of using government agents and federal agents to protect his girlfriend and country singer Alexis Wilkins. After the New York Times report, there has been a stir in the American intelligence system and critics have called it against FBI protocol. The case started with the National Rifle Association (NRA) event in Atlanta, where Alexis Wilkins was performing. According to the report, she arrived with two agents of the SWAT team of the FBI’s local field office, who were allegedly sent on the orders of Director Patel.
The agents checked the security of the venue and returned after finding no threat. This very thing displeased Kash Patel. He reprimanded the team commander as to why the team returned without providing ‘necessary security’ to his girlfriend. This is considered unusual because SWAT teams are deployed in operations where there is hostage crisis, high-risk operations or situations of great danger. Several former officers told the NYT that the director’s use of SWAT appeared “highly unusual” and unplanned.
