Himachal Assembly Session: Winter session of the Assembly is going on in Himachal Pradesh. During the assembly proceedings at Tapovan in Dharamshala on Thursday, CM Sukhu replied regarding the expenses of traveling to London for the admission of his daughter. BJP had created a ruckus on this matter and now when Vipin Parmar asked a question, the CM gave complete information.
Hospice. Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu had gone on a London tour a few months ago. There was a lot of uproar over this on social media including BJP. BJP had alleged that the CM was leaving the state and going to London due to the disaster. At the same time, now CM Sukhu himself has broken his silence on this matter.
Actually, CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu answered the question of BJP MLA Vipin Parmar on Thursday during the winter session of the Assembly. After the Question Hour, the CM said in the House that I had gone to London for my daughter’s admission and I had borne the entire expense for it from my own pocket. The CM said that payment for tea, accommodation, food and plane fare has been made online and every expense of the journey was paid from his own pocket. However, many things were said on social media. He said that as CM or as MLAs, we have the facility to go abroad, but I did not claim that either.
On BJP’s rally in Dharamshala, CM Sukh said that Jai Ram stands again and again in the House, no one stands behind him. BJP is divided into 5 groups and posters have been put up for 3 groups. He said that those making allegations of corruption should look into their own pockets, because BJP should tell the extent of corruption in 4500 bighas of land. Why has the Rs 1500 crore announced by the PM not arrived yet? Himachal BJP is stopping our help from the Centre.
Why did CM go to London?
It is noteworthy that CM Sukhu had gone to London in the month of September. His daughter Kamun has gone to London to study law. This visit of the Chief Minister was completely personal. His wife MLA Kamlesh Thakur was also with him. When BJP had raised questions on the CM’s visit, its advisor Naresh Chauhan had also reacted and making irresponsible comments on the Chief Minister for following his father’s religion is a sad example of the intellectual and moral decline of the opposition.
