Washington: America has been tainted with the charge of genocide, to hide which a decision has been taken to make an official a ‘scapegoat’. This stain was caused by the Venezuelan drug boat on which the missile attack was carried out. On September 2, the Caribbean Sea turned bloody when the US military attacked a suspected drug-smuggling boat. Many people were killed in this attack that took place in the dark of night, whose bodies were found stuck in the debris in the morning. Something happened that same night due to which USA’s senior special operations officer Admiral Frank M. Bradley is badly trapped.
What happened that night on the Venezuelan drug boat?
In fact, this operation, conducted on the night of September 2, was part of the Trump administration’s campaign to destroy the drug-trafficking network linked to Venezuela. In this attack, when the first airstrike was carried out, two people survived and were somehow fighting for their lives clinging to the debris, Bradley was watching this scene live and without knowing what happened to him, he ordered a second deadly attack on the burning ship.
Why is the second attack a war crime?
Let us tell you that international law clearly says that if a soldier or combatant is no longer in a position to fight, like the suspects in this attack were burnt and stuck to the debris for whom they were fighting… then killing them in such a situation is considered illegal and a war crime.
Who ordered the second attack?
Who did the Pentagon make ‘scapegoat’?
Pentagon Press Secretary Kingsley Wilson placed responsibility for the attack squarely on Admiral Bradley and also said that ‘Defense Secretary Hegseth stands fully with Admiral Bradley’. After this, Hegseth has also given clarification from his side. He said that when he was witnessing the first attack, he personally did not see anyone alive. He said, ‘That thing was in flames…it’s called the fog of war’.
Trump also supported Hegseth
Not only this, Trump also defended Defense Secretary Hegseth Pete and said that ‘Pete has told that he did not order to kill those two people’.
The second attack has created concern in Capitol Hill (US Parliament). After which several committees have started a formal investigation, the investigation panel includes the House and Senate Armed Services Committees. The investigation will determine whether Hegseth’s ‘kill all’ instruction was actually given, how commanders understood it, and whether it influenced Bradley’s decision to target the two survivors.
On this matter, Senator Mark Warner said, we have to ‘get to the bottom of this’ and he has demanded an unedited video recording of the attack. From which it will be known whether those people were going to fight or helpless.
Senator Chris Murphy sharply criticized efforts to shift blame to Bradley, saying, ‘He is selling out Admiral Bradley and sending shivers down the spines of his command chain, who now know that if their boss comes under fire, they will be sold out. This is a case study of how not to lead.
