Himachal Weather Update: Amidst bad weather alert in Himachal Pradesh, the weather remained clear in many areas of the state on Sunday. In such a situation, while there was sunshine in Shimla, in Kullu Manali also an increase in the maximum temperature has been recorded in the afternoon due to sunshine. Also, there was dense fog in Bilaspur on Sunday. Due to changes in the weather in the state, the minimum temperature in 25 cities of the state remained below 10 degrees Celsius.
What alert is issued regarding the weather?
According to Sandeep Sharma, scientist of Meteorological Center, Shimla, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in the high mountainous areas of the state on December 8. In such a situation, there is a possibility of snowfall in many high altitude areas of Chamba, Lahaul Spiti, Kullu and Kangra due to worsening weather. In the plains, a yellow alert is issued regarding fog in Bilaspur and Mandi till December 9. The weather will remain dry for the rest of the week. There is no warning regarding weather in the state till 13th December.

The lowest minimum mercury was recorded in Kukumseri in Himachal Pradesh. The minimum temperature in Kukumseri was minus – 5.9 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in Shimla was 8.5 degrees Celsius, Sundernagar 3.1, Bhuntar 3.6, Kalpa 0.4, Dharamshala 7.8, Una 5.6, Nahan 10.0, Palampur 5.5, Solan 3.2, Manali 3.7, Kangra 6.6, Mandi 4.1, Bilaspur 7.6, 4.0 in Hamirpur, 8.2 in Jubbarhatti, 6.5 in Kufri, 3.9 in Narkanda, 5.0 in Bharmour, 2.6 in Reckong Peo, 6.2 in Barthin, 10.5 in Kasauli, 9.0 in Paonta Sahib, 4.6 in Sarahan, 7.0 in Dehra Gopipur, minus in Tabo. The minimum temperature was -2.7, 10.5 in Neri, and 3.8 degrees in Bajaura.
