Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday flagged off four new Vande Bharat Express trains on important routes of Indian Railways. All these air-conditioned Vande Bharat Express will make the journey of passengers more convenient. After the commencement of these trains, the total number of Vande Bharat trains across the country will become 164.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has flagged off four Vande Bharat Express today on 8th November. These trains will further strengthen the country’s rail system, reduce travel time and accelerate development in many areas.
These new trains will run on four routes. This includes Banaras to Khajuraho, Lucknow to Saharanpur, Firozpur to Delhi and Ernakulam to Bengaluru. With these trains, the distance between big cities will be reduced, people will reach quickly and business and tourism will be strengthened. Where earlier it used to take hours, now the journey will be completed in a very short time. Let us tell you about the routes of these trains.
First of all let’s talk about the Banaras-Khajuraho train. This will provide direct facility and will save more than two and a half hours of time from the existing special trains. It will connect holy places like Banaras, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot with the UNESCO heritage site of Khajuraho. Pilgrims and tourists will get comfortable travel, religious tourism will get a new boost.
Then Lucknow-Saharanpur route. This train will cover the route in seven and a quarter hours, which means a saving of one hour. Cities like Lucknow, Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Bijnor, Saharanpur benefited. Reaching Haridwar via Roorkee will be easy. This will play a big role in the development of Central and Western UP, people will be able to return home soon.
For the people of Punjab, Firozpur-Delhi one. This will be the fastest train on this route, it will reach Delhi in just six and a quarter hours. It will connect cities like Firozpur, Bathinda, Patiala to the capital. Trade will increase, jobs will come and there will be economic development in the border areas.
Ernakulam-Bengaluru train in South India will reduce time by more than two hours, completing the journey in eight and a quarter hours. Will link IT hubs and business centres. There will be convenience for students, professionals and tourists and promotion of business and travel between Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Facilities like high speed, comfortable seats, Wi-Fi will also be available in these trains.
