Varanasi: Uttar Pradesh is now in the grip of white fog. Even on Saturday (December 13) morning, many cities of UP remained covered with a blanket of dense fog. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that this period of fog will continue in UP for the next 3 days. Due to dense fog, darshan of Lord Bhaskar will also take place in the afternoon in many cities. However, due to this, it will not have any significant effect on the minimum and maximum temperatures.
According to the information received from the Zonal Weather Center located in Amausi, Lucknow, on December 13, dense fog will be seen in the Terai areas of Eastern UP as well as Western UP. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert regarding this. Its special impact will be visible in Eastern UP on 14th December also. It is estimated that on Saturday, dense fog with zero visibility can be seen in Ballia, Mau, Azamgarh, Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar, Bareilly, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bahraich, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabirnagar, Basti, Gonda, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur and Shravasti. Yellow alert has been issued regarding fog in Rampur, Moradabad, Badaun, Bijnor, Sitapur, Barabanki, Amethi, Sultanpur, Jaunpur.
The weather will be like this in and around Varanasi
Moderate to light fog can also be seen in Varanasi and many surrounding districts today. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, light blanket of fog will also be seen in Varanasi, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Kaushambi, Chitrakoot, Ghazipur, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Ballia, Sonbhadra and Mau on Saturday. If we talk about the temperature in these districts, the maximum temperature can be recorded here at 28 and minimum at 8 degrees Celsius.
Some relief from cold in Lucknow today
There will be a blanket of fog in the state capital Lucknow on Saturday morning. Today the minimum temperature here is expected to be 11 and maximum 26 degrees Celsius. There will be a slight rise in the minimum temperature in the next 48 hours. If we talk about Noida adjacent to Delhi, today the minimum temperature there too will be around 10 and maximum around 25 degrees Celsius. However, fog will also be seen in Noida during morning and night.
Weather will change due to western disturbance
BHU meteorologist Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava said that there will be no significant change in the maximum temperature in UP in the next 3 to 4 days, but the minimum temperature is likely to increase by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius. After three days, a gradual decline will also be seen in it.
