US President Donald Trump once again got irritated at not getting credit. This time the target is Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Trump alleged that America provided huge help during the Russia-Ukraine war, yet Ukraine did not thank him. Their efforts were never given the respect they feel they deserve. This statement of Trump has come at a time when America has presented a peace plan to end the Russia-Ukraine war. Talks are going on in Geneva between the leaders of America, Ukraine and European Union. Foreign Ministers Marco Rubio and Steve Witkoff from the US side and Andrey Yermak from the Ukraine side are involved.
‘If I were president, there would be no war’
Trump again reiterated his claim that if the 2020 election had not been rigged and stolen, the Russia-Ukraine war would never have happened. He wrote, I inherited a war that should never have happened. If the 2020 election had not been stolen, Putin would never have attacked. Its name was not even mentioned during my first tenure. He also said that lakhs of people have died unnecessarily in the war and this war has proved harmful for everyone.
Attack on Biden, comment on NATO
Trump once again called President Biden Sleepy Joe and alleged that Biden gave everything free-free-free to Ukraine, which harmed American interests. He also took a jibe at NATO, America gave weapons worth millions of dollars to NATO, which later reached Ukraine. According to Trump, all this happened without any proper strategy.
Describing European countries as hypocrites, Trump said, Europe gets tough statements from America on war but itself continues to buy oil from Russia. This strengthens Russia’s economy and shifts the burden to America. Trump claims that if America had not provided weapons, Ukraine would not have been in this situation.
Trump was not upset for the first time
