Trevoh Chalobah will join the England squad to replace injured Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi.
The Chelsea defender, 26, will join the squad for England’s final World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Serbia, but this has yet to be officially announced.
The Three Lions have already qualified for next summer’s tournament.
Chalobah earned his first call-up under English coach Thomas Tuchel in May and then made his debut against Senegal.
In September, Tuchel said Chalobah was unlucky to be left out of the squad for the qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia, and was also not called up for the subsequent international break in October.
