How To Clean Wooden Cutting Board: Cutting boards are used everyday in the kitchen. These are used every day for cutting vegetables, fruits and spices. Most people use cutting boards made of wood to cut vegetables and fruits. But they should not be used for cutting chicken or fish. Use separate chopping boards for cutting veg and non-veg products. Especially the wooden board used for cutting non-veg should always be kept clean.

Use bleach: If raw chicken has been cut on a cutting board, cleaning it with bleach kills the bacteria present on the board. But first it should be washed with dish soap. Requires chlorine bleach, dish soap, sink or large tub. First clean the board with hot water.
After this, make bleach solution and add 1 tablespoon chlorine bleach to 1 gallon of water in the sink or large tub. Now dip the board in bleach water and soak it for some time. Leaving it for about 2-3 minutes will kill the bacteria present on the board. Then, to remove the smell of bleach, wash the board once with lukewarm water and dry it in air.
Dish soap or liquid from dish washing liquid, sponge, cloth are required. First of all, remove any food particles from the board. Wash the board with hot water, then add dish liquid and scrub thoroughly with a sponge or brush. If knife marks or lines are visible anywhere on the wood, then scrub a little more there. Clean not just one side, but the other side as well. If there is a handle on the board, wash it also. After this, wash it with lukewarm water, wipe it with a cloth and keep it to dry.
Cleaning with lemon: Cleaning a wooden cutting board with lemon and salt once a month makes it last longer. All you need is salt, lemon and a dry cloth. First of all put sea salt on the board. Then cut the lemon and rub it well on the board. Leave it like this for about 5 minutes. Now wash the board with lukewarm water and let it air dry.
