Mutton Paya Soup Recipe: Goat hoof soup is considered a great way to warm the body and increase strength during the winter season. This soup is not only delicious in taste, but is also very beneficial for the bones. Let us know how it can be made in an easy and homely manner.
cleaning is very important
First of all, wash the hoof (leg part) of the goat thoroughly with clean water. It would be better to first boil it lightly and throw away the water, so that all the dirt is removed. Now put the khurodas in the pressure cooker and along with them add a big onion, a few garlic cloves, a piece of ginger and two-three green chillies. All these things enhance both the taste and aroma of the soup. Now add turmeric, salt and a little black pepper powder to it and mix well.
Will become soft after 8-10 whistles
After this, pour about 4–5 cups of water in the cooker and close the lid. The khurodas are a bit hard, so let them cook for at least 8–10 whistles. By cooking it on low flame, all its nutrition and thickness gets added to the soup. After opening the cooker, the khurodas will have become completely soft and the color of the soup will also appear slightly thick.
Tempering enhances taste
Now heat some ghee in a pan. Add finely chopped onion to it and fry until it turns golden. After this add chopped tomatoes and let them become soft. Now add some coriander powder, garam masala and black pepper and fry well. This tadka gives a very interesting taste to the soup. Put the prepared tadka in the cooker and let the soup boil on low flame for 10-15 minutes, so that the flavor of the spices gets completely mixed.
Finally, add freshly chopped coriander and a few drops of lemon to make the soup even more aromatic. During cold winter nights, this khuroda soup helps in bringing warmth to the body, removing weakness and increasing energy. Especially for those who feel cold easily, this soup is no less than a home remedy. Your healthy and nutritious goat hoof soup is ready. Serve it hot and double the fun of winter!
