To increase the safety of passengers, Railways has started the process of installing automatic door systems in 238 new trains. To increase the safety of passengers, Railways has started the process of installing automatic door systems in 238 new trains. This technology will reduce accidents while boarding or deboarding the train and will make traveling safe amid crowding. With the arrival of these new local trains, service will be better and passengers will also save time.
Railways has also provided great facilities to the passengers of Palghar and Boisar area. Now many long distance trains have been given new stoppages in these areas. At present, a total of 104 trains stop at Palghar station, which includes 46 mail-express, 16 passenger and 42 suburban trains. Similarly, 99 trains stop at Boisar station, which includes 41 mail-express, 16 passenger and 42 local trains. With these stoppages, passengers from Palghar, Boisar and surrounding areas will no longer need to go to Vasai or Borivali to catch a train and will be able to travel in long distance trains from their nearest station.
The Railway Minister said that work is going on at a fast pace on many projects to increase the capacity and efficiency of Mumbai Suburban Rail. New train sets, modern signaling systems and infrastructure upgrades will make travel even more safe and convenient.
All these steps are being taken to provide great relief and better travel to lakhs of passengers of Mumbai, Palghar and Boisar region. In the coming time, Railways will do more work towards giving a more modern, world class look to the rail network. After the completion of these projects, passengers will not have to wander here and there to travel. In this way both time and money will be saved.
