It is considered especially beneficial for patients suffering from cancer, heart disease and arthritis. Marine fishes like salmon, mackerel, cod and haddock contain high amounts of lean protein and DHA which keeps the digestive system of the body active and helps in fighting cancer cells. Therefore, cancer patients must include fish in their diet.
