A wedding video was shared on social media. In this, people were seen falling into the drain. It is being told that the wedding procession had come to Jharkhand after crossing the dry state and had become intoxicated.
Bihar is a dry state. That is, a state where the sale of liquor is banned. Usually, in Indian weddings, the groomsmen dance vigorously under the influence of alcohol. Although this should not be done, but still people do the same. But Biharis are not able to do this in weddings. In such a situation, when the wedding procession from Bihar came to Jharkhand, they were so drunk that the wedding procession was found fallen in the drain.
Liquor ban is in force in Bihar since 2016, but it also affects weddings. The wedding guests are unable to enjoy alcohol while dancing and singing, which often leads to tension. But recently such a video has gone viral, in which the wedding procession from Bihar to Jharkhand became so drunk that they were found lying in the drain. This incident is creating a stir on social media, millions of people have seen it and memes are being made.
The procession had come from Bihar
The incident is being reported from a small town of Jharkhand, where the wedding procession had come from Supaul district of Bihar. The bride’s family had made vigorous preparations for the wedding. Due to non-availability of liquor in Bihar, the wedding guests started making ‘plans’ during the long journey. As soon as we crossed the border, we reached liquor shops in Jharkhand and drank heavily. It is seen in the video that the wedding procession is on the road, dancing and singing, but the intoxication became so strong that many people fell into the drain. The video received millions of views within 24 hours.
