Mathura: A painful accident at 4:30 in the morning between Mile Stone number 127 and 128 of Yamuna Expressway under Baldev police station area of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh shook the souls of the people. This accident happened when a white sheet was spread on the expressway, but an eyewitness who was injured in this accident revealed the reason for this accident. The accident happened not due to fog but due to the negligence of the bus driver. The eyewitness told that the driver of the bus in which we were traveling was drunk. The bus was traveling at high speed.
The driver was driving drunk
Eyewitness Ajit Tiwari (Pratapgarh) told that the bus driver was drunk and was driving the double decker bus at high speed on the expressway under the influence of alcohol. Because of this the bus rammed into the vehicles parked in front. The driver and conductor of the company absconded after the accident. The people injured in this accident were taken to the hospital in ambulances.
Driver fled from the spot
According to eyewitness Ajit Tiwari (Pratapgarh), the bus collided with four other buses, after which the fire broke out. As soon as the fire broke out, people started running to save their lives. He also alleged that the bus driver had consumed alcohol and was driving the bus at high speed. While overtaking, the bus collided with a car parked in front, after which the bus caught fire. In the accident, goods worth lakhs of rupees kept in the bus were burnt to ashes.
Ajit Tiwari clearly said that this accident happened completely due to the negligence of the bus driver. He told that this bus was going to Delhi via Amethi, Basti and Azamgarh.
