Giridih A love story in Giridih, Jharkhand took such a turn that even the lovers themselves could not have imagined. As soon as the lover came to meet his girlfriend secretly in the middle of the night and came into the sight of his family, the entire village woke up. Such an incident happened early in the morning that the matter became a topic of discussion in the entire area. Sonu Kumar, a resident of Deoghar, had reached Salaiya village at night to meet his girlfriend. There was a love affair going on between the two for the last several years. Friendship started on Instagram, then conversations increased and meetings started. Last night also Sonu reached his girlfriend’s house secretly, but this time luck was not with him.
Early in the morning the family members suspected something untoward. He started investigating and then noticed the activity inside. Sonu got scared seeing this. Fearing being caught, he tried to escape by jumping through the roof. But the villagers were already alert. As soon as he jumped, there was a noise and dozens of people gathered within no time. Within a few moments the crowd caught him red handed.
Love story was going on for a long time
As the news spread throughout the village, hundreds of villagers gathered at the spot. People came to know that the love affair between the boy and the girl was going on for a long time. Both were trying to maintain their relationship, but due to fear of society and family, they met secretly. After this, a Panchayat like situation was created in the village. The villagers consulted among themselves and then decided that if both love each other, then they should be given social recognition. The crowd took the lover-girlfriend to a nearby temple, where both of them got married with full rituals.

As soon as we came out of the temple, the atmosphere in the entire village changed. While there was tension and chaos of chase at night, happiness and relief were visible on everyone’s faces in the morning. The villagers said that “when both love each other, marriage is the best way.”
