Prayagraj-Lalgarh Superfast Express will get a temporary stoppage of 2 minutes at Khatipura station from 26-27 November 2025, which will provide relief to the southern areas of Jaipur. Currently, they had to travel 15-20 kilometers and face the problem of traffic jams.
New Delhi. North Central Railway has taken a big decision for the convenience of passengers. Both the superfast express trains running between Prayagraj-Lalgarh will now stop at Khatipura station. Train No. 12403/12404 (4 days a week) and 20403/20404 (tri-weekly) have been given a temporary stoppage of 2 minutes at Khatipura from 26-27 November 2025. This pause will continue till further orders.
This will provide great relief to thousands of passengers of Mansarovar, Jagatpura, Pratap Nagar, Vaishali Nagar in the southern area of Jaipur. The long standing demand of the people of Khatipura, Jaipur has finally been fulfilled. Railways has decided to give temporary halt to superfast trains running between Prayagraj and Lalgarh at Khatipura station. 12403 Prayagraj-Lalgarh Express will arrive Khatipura at 11:41 am and depart at 11:43 am from 27th November. In the return journey, 12404 Lalgarh-Prayagraj will arrive at 15:10 pm and depart at 15:12 pm from 26th November.
Similarly, tri-weekly train 20403 Prayagraj-Lalgarh will stop at Khatipura from 26th November and 20404 Lalgarh-Prayagraj will stop at Khatipura from 27th November. The timings of both will be 11.41 am and 11.43 pm and 15.10 pm and 15.12 pm respectively.
With this stop, people of southern and eastern parts of Jaipur will now be able to catch trains to Prayagraj, Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Mathura, Delhi and Bikaner, Sriganganagar from near their homes. Earlier, they had to go to Jaipur Junction or Gandhinagar, which involved traveling 15-20 kilometers and facing traffic jams. Local residents have greatly appreciated this step of the Railways. Many people said that if this stoppage becomes permanent, it will be the biggest gift for the area. Railways has clarified that further permanent halt will be considered after seeing the number of passengers and response.
