This winter tonic, which strengthens the body from within in the cold winds, is considered beneficial for all ages. Especially for women, elderly and those who suffer from weakness, fatigue or joint pain.
The specialty of Gondpak is that it is completely indigenous, nutritious and full of Ayurvedic properties. In this, ghee, dry fruits, gum, black pepper, flour and jaggery together prepare a power pack for winter. It not only keeps the body warm, but also increases immunity, removes anemia and gives energy.

It is very easy to prepare, first of all heat ghee well and add edible gum to it and fry it. When the gum swells, take it out and crush it. Then fry dry fruits in it also. After this, add wheat flour to the same ghee and fry it on low flame. When the flour becomes golden and fragrant, add dry fruits like almonds, cashews, pistachios and walnuts to it. Now add gum back into it and finally add jaggery and mix well.
