quota. Every year thousands of students from across the country come here with dreams of becoming doctors or engineers. One of them was Dixit Singh who came from a small town of Bihar. Reached Kota in 2015 to prepare for NEET. Excitement in the heart, sparkle in the eyes and a beautiful picture of the future. But fate had something else in store.
Gave NEET thrice, failed all three times. Every time hopes were dashed, confidence wavered. Dixit says, “Every time I used to feel – now that’s enough, nothing will happen. But Kota taught me to live life with books.”
One day he asked himself: “If I can’t become a doctor, then should I stop dreaming?” Got the answer – no! At that moment the path changed. The old hobby of writing and cooking became a passion.

Started food blogging on social media. Started posting pictures and reviews of dishes of cafes, hotels and restaurants of Kota. In the beginning, likes were less, dedication was more. Gradually people started liking it.

Today Dixit is counted among the most popular food bloggers of Kota. 1.25 lakh+ followers on Instagram. Big restaurants and hotels contact for promotion. He says, “Now I am doing only what truly makes me happy. Kota gave me the real taste of life.”

Dixit believes: “Failure is the real beginning of success. If I had not failed in NEET, I would not have recognized my passion.” Kota is no longer just a coaching city for them – it is a land that gives new paths to dreams. Smiling, he says, “Kota not only makes doctors and engineers, it also introduces people to themselves.”
Dixit’s story is a message for all those students who get buried under the burden of dreams. Life is not passed through an exam, it is passed through courage.
