Shalini tells that I was very fond of making cakes and my husband had also done a hotel management course and was quite an expert in bakery. So we thought that whatever we know, why not launch it as our own brand.
Start with snacks
Shalini says, initially we started with snacks, biscuits etc. At least 20 varieties of biscuits and more than 10 varieties of cakes. Started working in this manner and named its brand Bakers Café. The special thing about our sales is that we never make cakes and keep them. You come and tell us what kind of cake you want, we will give you exactly that in 15 minutes.

Our freshness and quality are our identity. Big officers and business people are our clients and when the delivery goes to them too, they touch it and see that the cake remains very hot. They also tell us if you have just created an instant. People like this freshness very much. Meaning people eat hot bread, we serve hot biscuits.
Madwa’s biscuits and cakes are a huge hit.
Shalini says, ‘You will find ordinary biscuits anywhere but our biscuits are different from all others. Actually, we have Madwa biscuits, which are very crispy and delicious to eat and are full of fiber. Its demand is so much that it always becomes out of stock. At the same time, we also have Madwa cake. That is, Ragi cake and its taste is such that we get orders for it almost every day.
The situation today is such that earlier we had to work under someone else, we had to do slavery. But today I have become my own boss and earn a good amount of money every month. Earlier it seemed that the job has been lost, what will happen now? But now it seems it is good that she left. That’s why God gave me the opportunity to become my own boss.
15 to 20 employees work
She further says, earlier we used to work ourselves. But today we provide jobs to 15 to 20 people ourselves. They are paid salary on the first day of every month. This is a matter of great pride for us. Along with this bakery, we also have a small restaurant open. Where you will find many good options for lunch and breakfast.
Customers are crazy about the taste
