Stock Market Today: The second trading session of the week in the Indian stock market on Tuesday, November 11, started on a positive note. At the beginning of the trading day, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50 opened trading on the green mark.
However, shortly after the beginning of the trading day, both the major benchmark indices started trading in the red. The 30-share BSE Sensex index opened at 83,671.52 points with a rise of 136.17 points or 0.16 percent, while the NSE Nifty 50 opened at 25,617.00 points with a rise of 42.65 points or 0.17 percent.
As of 9:22 pm, the Sensex was trading at 83,405, down 129 points. Whereas Nifty 50 was trading at 25,529 after slipping 44 points.

How was the market on Monday?
On Monday, November 10, there was a tremendous rise in the Indian stock market and both the major benchmark indices closed trading in the green. Sensex ended the trading day at 83,535.35 with a rise of 319.07 points or 0.38 percent, while NSE Nifty 50 registered a rise of 82.05 points or 0.32 percent and ended the trading day at 25,574.35.
INFY, HCL Tech, Bajaj Finance, Asian Paint and TCS were the top gainers from the BSE basket. Talking about the top losers, there were Trent, Eternal, PowerGrid, Mahindra & Mahindra and Axis Bank. Nifty Bank, Nifty Midcap, Nifty Auto, Nifty Next 50, Nifty 50, Nifty 100, Nifty Smallcap and Nifty IT closed trading in the green.
At the same time, a decline was recorded in Nifty FMCG shares. On Monday’s trading day, 19 shares from the BSE basket closed in the green and 11 shares recorded a decline.
