Kotak Mahindra Bank Success Story: Kotak Mahindra Bank completed 40 years on Friday. Uday Kotak shared a special post on the 40th anniversary of the bank, in which he told how he started from a small office in Mumbai. Anand Mahindra also praised this journey on his post, due to their friendship the bank has achieved progress and today the bank has a turnover of more than Rs 4 lakh crore.
Kotak Mahindra Bank completed its 40 years on Friday and it was a big occasion for the company. Founder Uday Kotak shared a post on social media reminiscing on this special day. He told that he started from a small office in Mumbai and his journey to Kotak Mahindra Bank started with just a few lakh rupees.
Whereas today it has become one of the largest private banks in India. While sharing old pictures, Uday Kotak said that building such a big institution from a small beginning really feels like a dream.
Started work from 300 square feet office
40 years ago today, I started a company with ₹30 lakh capital, in a 300 sq ft office in Fort, Mumbai. Today that company, which I ran for 38 years, is Kotak Mahindra Bank.
