Located just 500 meters from the main entrance of the park, the New Tourism Complex is providing tourists a unique experience of a safe and comfortable stay very close to nature.
Tourism Officer Vivek Kumar said that this modern complex has the facility of double bed and triple bed AC rooms. Here the rent of double bed room has been fixed at Rs 1700 and the rent of triple bed AC room has been fixed at Rs 2500. All the rooms are equipped with modern facilities, so that tourists can have a comfortable rest after the jungle safari.

For eating and drinking, a tourism canteen has been arranged in the complex, where both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is available. Tourists can enjoy local flavor as well as normal food. Due to the canteen facility, tourists do not need to go out, which saves both time and convenience. Along with the new tourism complex, the tree house and mud house built inside the park are also attracting the tourists. According to Deputy Director Prajesh Kant Jena, the rent for a double bed AC room in the tree house has been kept at Rs 2000 and the rent for a four bed AC room has been kept at Rs 2500. On the lines of Kerala and Himachal, the popularity of tree houses is increasing rapidly in Betla also. To further enhance the thrill of the tourists, the facility of elephant safari and jeep safari with guides and spotlights is available inside the park. Apart from this, towers and special hiding places have also been built to watch the wildlife.

It is quite easy and convenient to reach Betla National Park from the capital Ranchi. The distance from Ranchi to Betla is approximately 170 kilometers, which can be covered by road in 4 to 5 hours. This route is full of natural scenery, which makes the journey memorable. Tourists traveling by train can use regular trains running from Ranchi to Daltonganj (Medininagar). Daltonganj Railway Station is the nearest major station to Betla, from where Betla is at a distance of about 25 kilometers. Betla National Park can be easily reached from the station via taxi, auto or local bus. For those traveling by road, regular government and private buses are available from Ranchi to Daltonganj. After reaching Daltonganj by bus, one can get a local bus or taxi to Betla. Tourists traveling by private vehicle can reach Betla directly via Ranchi-Daltonganj road.
