The soil does not dry quickly in winter, so avoid watering daily. Feel the top layer of soil – water only if it feels dry. Due to excessive watering in cold weather, the roots of the plant start rotting. But keep in mind that the soil should not dry out completely, otherwise the leaves of the plant will start falling.
The growth of the plant slows down in cold weather, hence it is beneficial to give light organic fertilizer during this period. Give cowdung manure or vermicompost once a month.
