The increasing number of vehicles in cities, construction work and industrial smoke together are making the air so bad that it is becoming difficult for people to even go out.

Talking about Ballabhgarh, the AQI here today remained between 180 to 230. It falls in the category of bad to very bad level. In areas like New Industrial Town, the AQI was around 230, while the average AQI of Ballabhgarh was recorded around 235, which has reached the dangerous category. Its direct impact is immediate on children, elderly and already sick people. Many people have been forced to stay at home instead of taking a walk in the morning because there is a fear of the outside air increasing cough, sore throat and respiratory problems.
