Sitamarhi Maa Janki Mandir: The grand Janki temple of Mata Sita in Sitamarhi will be ready in 42 months. For this, work has officially started from today. All kinds of facilities will be provided around the temple.
Sitamarhi. The wait that has been going on for years for the construction of Maa Janaki temple in Punaura Dham of Sitamarhi is now coming to an end. After the completion of land acquisition, the work of demarcation and boundary construction of the temple complex has officially started from Tuesday. This temple, built in a grand and modern form like Ayodhya, is being considered a dream project of the tourism department. There is a plan to prepare the entire complex as a developed and international level religious-tourism center, which will further strengthen the identity of Sitamarhi in the country and the world.
Every arrangement around the temple
Along with the temple, preparations for beautification and development of tourism facilities on a large scale have also started. Many facilities like green area, modern lighting system, beautiful entrance gate, darshan path, resting place for devotees, drinking water and parking arrangements will be created around the complex. Apart from this, there is a plan to create a complete religious circuit by connecting Urvija Kund and nearby religious places, so that devotees can visit many spiritual places of Mithila in a single trip.
As the temple construction processes are gaining momentum, a lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the local people and devotees. As soon as the boundary construction started, the confidence among the people has strengthened that now the temple of Maa Janaki will definitely be built in its grand form. From shopkeepers, hoteliers to villagers, everyone is hopeful that after the completion of the temple construction, new avenues of tourism will open in the area, employment will increase and Sitamarhi will also become economically strong. These possibilities of development along with religious sentiments have made the atmosphere even more positive.
Temple will be built in 42 months
Regarding this entire process, the Minister in-charge of Tourism and Art-Culture Department said that the temple of Maa Janaki will be built in a grand form like Ayodhya and a target has been set to complete the work within the stipulated time limit of 42 months. He also said that the necessary funds for the project have been released and the work will not be allowed to stop at any stage. This statement of the Minister has given further impetus to the expectations of the people of the area. Now people are eagerly waiting for the day when the main work of temple construction will formally start and reach its final stage.
