Bilaspur. Now people are likely to get some relief amid the severe cold in Chhattisgarh. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be a slight increase of one to two degrees Celsius in the minimum temperature in the state during the next three days. There are signs of reduction in cold wave conditions in the entire state from December 14. However, in some areas the effect of cold will still persist in the morning and evening and there is a possibility of cold wave at one or two places.

According to the Meteorological Department, the highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded at Durg at 29.6 degrees Celsius. Whereas the minimum temperature of 5.7 degrees Celsius was recorded in Ambikapur, due to which the effect of cold was more visible in North Chhattisgarh.

No rainfall was recorded anywhere in the state. There is currently no active cyano system affecting the weather, due to which the weather remains dry.
