While talking to Local-18, Chandan told that my father started doing shopkeeping here in Araria district years ago. This shop is still running. Chandan told that recently the idea came to his mind that why not open a baked litti shop in Araria. Today 1000 littis are easily sold. Actually, litti cooked on fire is easily available at every intersection in South Bihar including Chapra, Patna. But it is rarely seen in North Bihar i.e. Mithila region. In such a situation, he has started the work of making litti on fire.
roasting on coal
Chandan told that after learning from Nawada, he started selling Seki Litti in Araria. Litti is made by roasting it on coal. At the same time, along with Litti, potato brinjal tomato chokha along with salad and fried green chillies are also given, which further enhances the taste of the food. People’s stomach is filled for 20 rupees
Chandan told that along with Litti, Chokha, coriander chutney, salad, pickles and fried green chillies are served here. Which the customers like very much. Whereas, if we talk about the rate, Rs 20 is added. Along with this, spicy coriander chutney, pickle fried green chilli is available free. At the same time, litti with ghee is available for Rs 30 a pair. Here people’s stomach is filled in just two chowkhas.
