Dangerous Scorpion: The wrath of red scorpion increases as the winter season approaches. They remain hidden in warm and closed places amidst cold winds. There is a danger of unbearable pain and poison spread due to the sting of a scorpion, but do not panic. Dr. Akshay Srivastava, Superintendent of Rewa Super Specialist Hospital, says that there are mainly three types of scorpions – black, brown and red. Black and brown scorpions are more active in the rainy season, whereas red scorpions have a serious nature. In winter, they hide in warm places like kitchen, shoes or around room heater. When they become numb from the cold, they become more aggressive in search of food.
