Ranveer Singh SuperYou- Actor Ranveer Singh and Nikunj Biyani’s company SuperYou is rapidly climbing the stairs of success. The company has earned a revenue of Rs 100 crore in six months. The company manufactures protein-rich wafers and has now also launched protein chips and vegan protein powder.
New Delhi. In November last year, when film actor Ranveer Singh along with Nikunj Biyani launched SuperYou, hardly anyone had thought that this startup would achieve a revenue of Rs 100 crore in just half a year. But this has happened. The brand started with just four protein wafer bars. Chocolate, choco peanut butter, strawberry creme and cheese. Each bar has 10 grams of protein, 3 grams of fiber and that too without added sugar and without palm oil. This ‘healthy trick’ worked and people immediately accepted SuperU.
The next target of the company is to achieve revenue of Rs 500 crore. The company’s further intention is to launch chocolates, biscuits, cereals and some other products. So that big FMCG brands can be given direct competition with better ingredients and honest nutrition. SuperYou showed tremendous growth on platforms like Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, Amazon and Flipkart. Nearly 17 lakh units were sold in just three months and now the brand is moving towards a revenue of Rs 200 crore. Now the company has also launched protein chips and vegan protein powder.
Why was it such a quick success?
Ranveer Singh’s personality and active involvement, the budget-friendly nature of the products and the lack of protein-rich buffers in India have helped SuperU carve a niche for itself. Runwari Singh not only became the brand ambassador, but he also put his energy and creativity into every step from product development to marketing. The company has benefited tremendously from this. Protein bars starting at Rs 50 have brought healthy snacking within the reach of common people. Along with this, its availability on Quick-Commerce has played an important role in increasing sales.
Took advantage of protein gap
Most Indians do not consume enough protein daily and healthy snacking options are very limited. Ranveer Singh and Nikunj Biyani took advantage of this shortcoming. The biggest game-changer was the use of bio-fermented yeast protein. It has been used for the first time in India
