Railway Hospital OPD Time Change: Keeping in mind the convenience of the patients, Railway Hospital has changed the OPD timings. According to the new schedule, now the timings of different departments have been fixed from morning to afternoon. Railway administration says that with this change, patients will be able to get better health services and treatment in less crowd.
Jodhpur. Keeping in mind the winter season, OPD timings have been changed in the Railway Hospital of Jodhpur Division of North Western Railway. This change has been implemented as per the guidelines of the Railway Board and with the approval of Divisional Railway Manager Anurag Tripathi. Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. S. R. Weaver said that due to winter, it was necessary to amend the OPD system of the hospital so that patients and staff could get facilities. This new time has been implemented in all the health units of the entire Jodhpur division, although the Workshop Health Unit has been kept apart from it.
New OPD timings and services: According to the new rules, OPD will now operate from 9 am to 3 pm from Monday to Saturday in Divisional Railway Hospital, Jodhpur and all the health units of the division. Registration time will be from 8.30 am to 3 pm, so that patients can get their entry done on time. The pharmacy facility will be available from 9 am to 3.30 pm. Apart from this, the local purchase medicine counter will be open from Monday to Saturday in two timings, first from 10 am to 12 am and second from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm. The emergency services of the hospital will continue as before, 24 hours a day, in three shifts so that patients can get immediate medical help in case of any emergency.
Patients will get more facilities
According to the hospital administration, due to cold and fog in the morning in winter, patients have difficulty reaching the hospital, hence the OPD timings have been extended a little. This will not only provide relief to the patients but will also make it easier for the doctors and staff to do their work. Railway officials say that this change will further improve the quality of health services and also increase patient satisfaction.
The new system was implemented with immediate effect
The Railway Administration has clarified that this new system has been implemented with immediate effect. The purpose of this change is to increase the convenience of patients in winter and make health services more effective. Railway Hospital Administration has requested all the employees and patients to avail the services by following the new timings.
