If your gut is very clean and food is being digested completely, then it is not possible that cough will bother you for more than 2-4 days.
Doctor VK Pandey explains that if you consume too much fried and refined flour and especially junk food. Only then the problem of excess phlegm is seen. It is better to improve your diet. Take more fiber in your diet and try to eat only home-cooked food. Also increase the quantity of fruits and salad.
Along with this, try and drink at least 3 liters of water every day. In the morning, on an empty stomach, drink 2-3 glasses of lukewarm water.
