Ayodhya News: Suddenly police activity has intensified in Ayodhya and all suspicious vehicles and persons are being searched. Strict monitoring is being done regarding security. After all, what is going to happen in Ayodhya, due to which the police administration has come on alert.
Ayodhya: The security arrangements in Ayodhya have been unprecedentedly strengthened before 6th December. From the city borders to the Ayodhya Dham area, the presence of police can be clearly seen everywhere. Keeping in mind the possibility of any untoward incident or communal tension, the police administration has implemented all security standards on high alert mode. Intensive checking of all vehicles entering Ayodhya Dham is being done. Along with checking the identity of the driver and passengers, the luggage is also being searched.
Investigation of every suspicious vehicle and person
CO Ayodhya Ashutosh Tiwari is monitoring the checking of vehicles. He said that from security point of view every suspicious vehicle and person is being investigated. Immediate action will be taken if any untoward activity is indicated. The checking campaign is continuing at all the intersections of the district. Suspicious persons are being interrogated and the CCTV network has been kept on active mode. Live monitoring of hundreds of CCTV cameras installed across the city is being done from the control room. Police teams have been instructed to conduct special patrolling in crowded areas and places of worship. The administration says that this security cordon is to prevent any kind of rumour, dispute or possibility of breach of peace.
After all, why is security increased on 6th December?
Due to the suddenly increased presence of police on the streets of Ayodhya, alertness has increased among the people, but the local citizens are cooperating considering it as a normal security arrangement. Police say that this action is to maintain the safety and peace of the common people and no problem will be allowed to arise in it.
It is noteworthy that the disputed structure was demolished in Ayodhya on 6 December 1992, after which every year special attention is paid to security on this date. This time, security has been further strengthened in view of the ever increasing number of devotees in the Ram Temple complex and tourism activities in the city.
